- The sysop told me that I got the 2400/ARQ because my "modem was too
- fast." The sysop also said I was connecting at 19200, even though the
- carrier was 14400, and their dial-up modems are all supposed to be 14400.
- I was told to disable hardware handshaking, also, which I have not
- tried. Evidently, the connection is fine, but the signals being reported
- are somewhat in error. The sysop said that if I got the home page within
- two minutes I was doing well; it only takes me about 15 seconds.
